If that happens, use a workaround and set the value to one less than you wanted. However, because of the earlier mentioned differences, in some environments, your GIF might play one time more than you specified. The "Loop a Specific Number of Times" option will set the internal GIF repeat variable to your value. This option is guaranteed to work in all browsers and programs. It will play the animation from the first frame to the last and then stop. The "Loop Strictly 1 Time" option will always repeat a GIF just once on all systems. Because of this, we added several different loop mode options. Some think that it's the absolute total number of times a GIF should be repeated (including the first loop) but some others think it's the number of times a GIF should be iterated (after the first loop). When using this program you have to be aware that different browsers, operating systems, and programs interpret the loop counter value differently. Or, you can convert a GIF that loops just once into a continuously looping GIF. Or, you can convert a GIF that plays just once into a GIF that plays twice or three times. For example, you can convert an infinitely repeating GIF into a GIF that repeats just once. This is a browser-based program that modifies the loop counter in GIF files.
